As a future Global Impact Project student, you are required to take a personal insurance for the entire duration of your field mission and send a copy to the International Relations Office no later than 30 days prior to departing. This is part of the requirement you committed to at the time of applying.
You can either contract your own insurance, or take out the “PLAN SANTE STUDIES”, a policy suggested in partnership with your Business School and VERSPIEREN which covers internships abroad, university exchanges and solidarity/humanitarian missions.
The policy provides unlimited coverage for medical expenses, covering unexpected illnesses and accidents with no excess, as well as social security refunds for stays in the EU and with no excess in the rest of the world.
The policy’s assistance package includes medical repatriation to your home country following hospitalisation, early return in the event that a member of your family dies or is hospitalised, coverage of return tickets and accommodation costs for a family member if a policyholder is hospitalised, legal assistance…
This package includes public, personal and rental liability coverage, as well as luggage insurance during transport and a lump-sum accident pay out in the event of death.
